IMEX 2023 with Eurostar & London

The London Convention Bureau teamed up with Eurostar and Slippy Media to take a group of hosted buyers who were over in the UK capital from North America to a trade fair in Frankfurt Germany by train. The plan was to show them, along with a group of partners exhibiting on the London stand at IMEX, a more sustainable and fun way to travel to European events.

We interviewed the group on camera before boarding the Eurostar to Brussels and then again when we reached our final destination. Along the way, they enjoyed a private Eurostar carriage with entertainment and a reception in Brussels, before we switched trains and made our way to the German city of Frankfurt.

Slippy Media’s Mike Fletcher then moderated a panel during IMEX where our quick turnaround video was shown to delegates and the benefits of taking the train were discussed with Eurostar, London & Partners and Evolve Events on-stage.

Mike Fletcher also supported the London Convention Bureau by helping to co-ordinate a press conference featuring the Deputy Mayor of London for Business, Rajesh Agrawal.
